  1. The following site is very -VERY- useful for both teachers and learners of English:

    http://breakingnewsenglish.com/

2045 lesson plans including pre-, while-, and post- listening / reading activities.

Leson plans go from warmers to writing including, filling gaps, matching, punctuation, spelling, Qs/As, interaction activities... covering all the basic skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing).

Besides, the lessons and activities are organized in levels (7 levels). Quizzes online... (¡El que quiera más que le piquen caña! -Don't know how to say it in English-)

OF COURSE, ADAPTION TO OUR PARTICULAR CLASS SITUATIONS WILL BE NECESSARY.

    IMPORTANT:
Please, WHEN USING MATERIALS TAKEN FROM THIS WEBSITE, CITE THE SOURCE!

Please, if you find the site useful, write a comment in this blog.
(Do it as well if you don't!)

    PS
    Answer to a possible question:
No. I do not have any participation in that website and they do not pay anything to me to advertise it. They don't even know I exist!
(I just happen to like this resource so much...)

  2. He who said that A TEACHER SHOULD THINK AS A STUDENT AT THE MOMENT OF PLANNING was completely right.

That way, the teacher will depart from the students interests regarding topics, activities, materials... not from the book or from hie/her own interests.

WE DO NOT TEACH THE LANGUAGE FOR THE SAKE OF THE LANGUAGE, WE DO IT AS A MEANS OF PERSONAL AND SOCIAL EXPRESSION.
